I’m convinced the pope not the best vote. Maybe I should start by saying I’m an Atheist, so in all fairness my opinion is biased but reality based. However here’s one concern I have; the pope controls people’s freedoms in the US as well as around the world. This problem was faced by the American public in the 1800′s when many people from catholic backgrounds began arriving which, as long as they legally arrive and it became a widespread fear that there would be some kind of overthrow of the government because of the religious identity of these immigrants. The problem persists to this day with a large percentage of Catholics in the GOP mainly because of The Right to Life, or Anti Choice Sheeple. My opinion is that abortion is wrong for catholics, but not for everyone else who isn’t catholic or who believes in a woman’s freedom to choose. It is because of this that i find that the pope is manipulative and, to say this nicely, he is not the best friend of the same freedom’s which everyone deserves.
